Socialist Apple Mus

Two weeks ago my parents came to Berlin for a visit. We went to the Zentralfriedhof Friedrichsfelde, the cementary where Karl Liebknecht and Rosa Luxemburg (or what was left of them) are buried.

On our way back we passed an allotment garden colony and people had left boxes with windfall apples in front of their little gardens to take away for free. So I collected as many apples as I could carry and made apple purée (Apfelmus) with a bit of cinnamon and served with a shot of liquid (soy) cream, Mjam!
